Clark Atlanta University Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaigns
In a joint venture between the Clark Atlanta University Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development and the Consortium on Disparities in Urologic Conditions, we developed and produced live activations, conferences, and campaigns in partnership with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare systems, and organizations to launch campaigns aimed at reducing prostate cancer rates in metro Atlanta.
Get Involved. Get Tested.
For Men's Health Month, I developed a six-part series giving men four concrete ways to take charge of their prostate health. Each post was designed to stand alone but build as a series — driving awareness of CCRTD's Annual National Symposium. Balancing warmth, urgency, and accessibility was the creative challenge here, and one that truly resonated with audiences and sponsors, driving efforts to reduce prostate cancer disparities in Atlanta.
4 Ways to Support Black Men Living with Prostate Cancer
This project was close to my heart. Working with Clark Atlanta University's CCRTD, I helped bring to life a social media carousel designed to meet Black men where they are — on their phones, scrolling. Each slide covers one of four pillars: finding a doctor you trust, getting screened early, eating well and staying active, and leaning on peer support. The goal was to make life-saving information feel approachable, not clinical.
Prostate Cancer At A Glance
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is put the numbers in front of people in a way they can actually absorb. This social media awareness campaign does exactly that — translating stark disparities in prostate cancer outcomes for Black men into clear visuals, paired with a practical risk checklist and local resources. Designed to educate and empower in a single scroll.
